1. DeskDirector for your Clients

DeskDirector Portal:

  • The DeskDirector Portal is installed on your client's computers to provide them a superior portal experience
  • Active Directory integration is used to prevent the need for login
  • If the user doesn't exist in your CRM/PSA (ConnectWise or Autotask) they will be added in the login process
  • If your client doesn't have Active Directory they can simply use our Passwordless login which only requires them to enter their email address
  • Either way this is a one time process, their details are encrypted and stored on their computer for use next time

DeskDirector Web:

  • DeskDirector Web has most features and requires no installation
  • Clients can also log in from any browser or their smartphone thanks to our web version of DeskDirector
  • Clients can log in using our Passwordless login, which only requires them to enter their email
  • If the user doesn't exist in your CRM/PSA (ConnectWise or Autotask) they will be added in the login process
  • This is a one time process, their details are encrypted and stored on their browser for use next time


2. DeskDirector's Cloud Service

  • All communication with DD Portal uses our cloud end point
  • The magic and heavy lifting is done on our service so you get a faster experience
  • There is no need for any server infrastructure at your site
  • This communication is encrypted and transferred over HTTPS
  • As a result there is no ports to open to your client's network

3. DeskDirector's Core CRM/PSA (ConnectWise or Autotask) Integration

  • DeskDirector communicates with your CRM/PSA using their APIs 
  • Both On-Premise and Hosted ConnectWise versions are supported
  • Data is sent to your Core CRM/PSA in real-time
